Your bodie’s pH & your health

I can’t address the importance of your bodies pH enough. What pH stands for & what it represents? pH,potential of hydrogen, is a measure of  your body’s tissue oxygen, acid-alkaline balance. In the absence of oxygen, glucose undergoes fermentation to lactic acid. This causes the pH of the cell to drop. Our bodies simply can not fight disease if our body pH is not properly balanced.

Dr. Warburg, a Nobel Peace Prize winner- “All normal cells have an absolute requirement for oxygen, but cancer cells can live without oxygen – a rule without exception.”

An undesirable pH can lead to a variety of negative health effects. A body that tends toward acidity heightens the risk for infections from bacteria, yeast, parasites, and viruses. All of these “critters” seek out and thrive in an acid environment. Not only are you more susceptible to infections such as colds and the flu, degenerative diseases like cancer, arthritis, heart disease and osteoporosis are promoted if your pH is consistently acid. If disease is to be prevented or successfully managed, an acid pH must be overcome.

The pH of the urine indicates how the body is working to maintain the proper pH of the blood. The urine pH is directly correlated to both tissue oxygen levels and soft tissue levels of minerals, such as calcium, magnesium, and trace elements. The pH of urine indicates the efforts of the body via the kidneys, adrenals, lungs and gonads to regulate pH through the buffer salts and hormones. Urine can provide a fairly accurate picture of body chemistry, because the kidneys filter out the buffer salts of pH regulation and provide values based on what the body is eliminating. If your urinary pH fluctuates between 6.4 – 7.0 your body is functioning within a healthy range.

Test your first morning urine after 5am when you are up for the day to determine whether the pH is acid or alkaline.  If the pH is below 6.4 an immediate action needs to be taken to restore consistently alkaline first morning urine pH. Your Liver-be nice to it

  • High Cholesterol
  • Hormonal Imbalances
  • Blood Sugar Imbalances…

You can go after each symptom individually or you can actually go to the root cause of it.

Did you know that the liver is the biggest gland in the body & performs many metabolic processes including our ability to cope with environmental toxins. The fastest growing form of liver disease is related  neither to toxic exposure (as with drugs & alcohol), nor to viral infection (as with hepatitis A, B, and C), but to over-accumulation of triglycerides in the working cells of the liver. Increasing rates of liver inflammation and even cirrhosis may be related to a spectrum of often-silent conditions. Chronic Liver Disease is the 10th leading cause of death in the US.

Standard American Diet (SAD)- consuming too many calories, especially from fat, bigger portions, insulin resistance-when cells become less sensitive to the hormone insulin (that food coma you get after eating simple, highly processed carbohydrates) interferes with livers ability to perform it’s vital functions.

Some of the functions of the liver are:

  1. Manufactures Bile to break down fats
  2. Metabolizes protein, fats, carbohydrates to produce energy & nutrients
  3. Removes excessive hormones from the blood for excretion
  4. Stores several Vitamins including A, D, K, E, B12
  5. Filters out toxins from the substances we ingest (food, alcohol, drugs)

It is estimated that up to 20% of all US adults & 5% of all US children would test positively for Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease even without symptoms. It is usually a silent condition and that is why it’s so important to pay attention to some of the warning signs.

Common symptoms of poorly functioning liver:

  • Fatigue, muscle ache & tendon pains
  • Abdominal Obesity
  • Insulin Resistance
  • Hypertension
  • Elevated Blood Glucose
  • Elevated Cholesterol
  • Digestive problems; frequent burping, intestinal gas, stomach pain
  • Food allergies or sensitivities
  • Eye problems: blurred vision, eye flutters or twitches
  • Difficulty sleeping-especially between 1-3AM

Does anyone relate to this, and if so what can you do?

First and foremost change your lifestyle, eating habits, incorporate healthy fats into your daily regimen, lay off those hydrogenated oils, highly processed carbohydrates, meats, increase your water consumption, and get on a daily exercise program.

You also can cleanse the liver by doing regular Coffee Enemas, Liver/Gallbladder flushes (contact me for details)

Liver/Gallbladder flush

Interesting thing happen, 4-5 days after my last flush I had a lot of emotional release.

It’s amazing how much we can store inside and not even realize, but it sure feels good when you let it out.

Looking forward to the next one, maybe in 4-5 weeks.

Best of health,

Ani

Liver/Gallbladder Flush

DONE

Glad it’s over, as much as I understand the importance of it still I’m happy I don’t have to do this again  for another 6 weeks. Had a rough night, around 2am got really nauseous but this morning already got lots of gallstones out.

Today all day I’ll be taking it easy, staying home. Going to try to capture some of the stones, preferably the biggest ones. Feeling lots of pressure my abdominal area.

Around 10am I can start eating some light stuff, like vegetable broth, fruit. Surprisingly not that hungry.

Just had some grapefruit, and vegetable broth, tired and sleepy. Keep passing stones.

Thank you,

Ani

Liver/Gallbladder Flush

Today is the 7thand the main day of my flush

I kind of messed up my 6th day because I wasn’t suppose to eat protein and ended up eating a small peace of chicken breast. But, it’s OK.

So to day I’m eating vegetables, brown rise, fruit only till about 2pm then nothing after that but water.

At 6pm and 8pm I have to drink this special liquid which I’m not looking forward to because it does not taste good.

Then at 10pm another much better tasting liquid.

Will post this afternoon on how I’m feeling.

Thank you,

Ani

Liver/Gallbladder Flush

5th day of my flush.

It’s amazing how my cravings are just gone, nothing, zip. LOVE IT

2 more days to go, can’t wait. Nothing special are happening, just taking my supplements, drinking the liquids, and eating my regular healthy meals. Tomorrow evening going to a party, hope they have some healthy choices in food.

Thank you,

Ani

Liver/Gallbladder Flush

4th day of my Liver/Gallbladder flush.

Feeling great, looking forward to Sunday.

It’s amazing what happens when you put your mind into something. I was at a meeting today and they served this wonderful dessert. Before I would’ve at least tasted but today had no desire whatsoever.

Just discovered sprouted mung beans, they taste soooo good. Eating sprouted vegetables is my new thing. I’m actually starting to sprout them myself. Sprouted some lentils last week but was to hard to eat, don’t know what I did wrong. Will keep trying till I get it right.

Tomorrow morning I’m making Gee, I didn’t realize that growing up my grand-grandmother used to make gee until  about a month ago my friend made it. After testing it I couldn’t believe it was the same taste that I grew up with. It never seems to surprise me how powerful a smell and taste can be.

Thank you,

Ani

Liver/Gallbladder Flush

Today I started my second Liver/gallbladder flush.

Just want to mention that I got around 200 gallstones out from the first flush. I captured the picture of few of the biggest ones. See picture below.

As you know liver is involved in over 600 functions, so by getting your liver and gallbladder healthy  lots of symptoms you are having may go away. Here are some of the common symptoms of poorly functioning liver:

  • Digestive problems, frequent burping
  • Food allergies or sensitivities
  • Eye problems: eye floaters, twitches, blurred vision
  • Difficulty sleeping- especially between 1-3AM
  • Irritability, frequent anger
  • Headaches

The whole flush is a 6 day preparation and a 7th day main flush. Besides eating a  regular healthy diet I take specific supplements.

Stay in tune for my day-to-day progress.

Thank you,

Ani

Liver/Gallbladder Flush

Going on 3rd day of the flush

Have lots of energy, can’t hike since it’s been pouring outside, but exercising indoors. Surprisingly don’t crave any animal protein. Actually I saw this corn beef sandwich at the restaurant and it looked pretty discussing.  I don’t think I can be complete vegetarian but we’ll get very close to it. Drinking all this liquids making me go to the bathroom every few minutes.

I think I should be doing coffee enema to enhance the effects of this flush, maybe tomorrow.

Well, 4 more days to go.

Best of health,

Ani

Second day of Liver/Gallbladder flush

Coming off from holidays it’s hard to get over the cravings of cheese, bread. Not so much sweets because I make a raw dessert of nuts, coconut, and dates and that pretty much satisfies the sweet cravings. Just started making coconut kefir and I love it. Most of the coconut kefir recipes use only the coconut water but I use it all, the meat and the water. It tastes great.

So today I’m pretty much taking my supplements and drinks, eating healthy, mainly vegetarian diet. It’s amazing how eating meat effects your energy. I haven’t eaten meat for about 3-4 days then on Saturday after a 9 mile hike with friends we went to Islands and I had a burger. The rest of that day I was sluggish, and it wasn’t from hiking.

Best of health,

Ani
